The activity of the company is regulated by the Law of Republic of Moldova 114/2012 on payment services and electronic money, and since 2018 QIWI Moldova is a licensed electronic money institution, entitled, on an equal footing with commercial banks, to carry out activities related to the issuance of electronic money and the provision of payment services on the territory of Moldova.
